Teachers
Our teachers are compassionate individuals who genuinely care about each and every one of their students. They are deeply committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where our students can thrive and reach their full potential. CSOD follows the comprehensive Southern Federation of Dance syllabus for Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. Additionally, our teachers are highly qualified instructors, boasting a wealth of experience in their respective styles, ensuring that every student receives the best possible training and guidance.
Jemma began dancing in 2001 at Ringwood Ballet Group, and moved to Croydon School of Dance in 2009. She studied VCE VET Dance during high school, and completed her SFD Teaching Certificate in 2017. Jemma loves all styles of dance, but Ballet had always had a special place in her heart. So much so that when not teaching at CSOD, she is working on her own costume business specialising in corsetry, gowns and tutus. After taking some time off from dancing, Jemma re-discovered her passion for dance teaching in 2024 and is enjoying watching each student grow as an artist.
